Punchlines Limited started its operations in 1988 as a continuous computer paper and business forms print-house. After strong growth for a period of 7 years the company moved its focus to security document printing in 1995 after getting approval by the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA). In 1998 after extensive research and re-investment in software and hardware equipment, the company core business shifted from continuous computer paper printing to security document printing. From its humble beginnings, Punchlines Limited has diversified gradually to become one of the largest Security & Commercial print-house in the East Africa region.
SERVICE
As a security document print-house, we undertake the printing of all types of security documents such as chequebooks, continuous cheques, dividend cheques and notices, share certificates, tickets, receipts, money orders, certificates, passbooks, insurance certificates and many other custom designed documents. We also undertake PVC card printing orders such as financial cards. In collaboration with our automation group company we are now able to offer solutions such as ID issuance and automated ticketing. As for commercial printing, we specialize in large volume printing of forms, brochures, reports, books, leaflets, posters etc. We offer fast turn-around and good print quality.

TECHNOLOGY
Through constant re-investment and affiliations to other security equipment and material suppliers, we are able to offer a wide range of security features. These features are incorporated in various components of security documents such as paper, design, printing and post-printing. This ensures a world-class security print service. Security features include overt, convert and forensic features. Extensive use of technology ensures smooth management of operations on the front-end and the production-end of our business. In-house software, electronic and mechanical engineers ensure that equipment and systems are maintained without outside intervention. In-house training is also provided to all levels of employees. As a commercial print-house, continuous investment in pre-press, press and post-press has allowed more and more products to be added to the existing product line.
